On the first page of the Coliseum is not one, but two threads started by this fool throwing criticism at QBs, yet this same mutha-fukkin doofus is literally the ONLY Stan of arguably the worse starting QB in the NFL, and unarguably a bottom 3 QB who needs to meet his football destiny (the end of the bench) ASAP so his team can move on with an actual QB.

I acknowledge my Geno stanning seems weird to some people (though he IS my QB so I don't know why some are shocked), but can you respond to my actual Derek Carr assertions with reason before you go off about Geno Smith and other stuff that has nothing to do with this thread? Thanks.

Oh and Bortles may still be successful given how high he was drafted. Manziel I predicted was gonna bust, and Mariota will never be a top 10 QB.

Over his last 4 games, Geno numbers looked like a league average QB, approaching Sam Bradford status. IAnd in his last game he went 80% completion and a perfect QB rating. Over that same period Geno averaged a completion percentage Sanchez never achieved in all his time in NY across the same period. Geno's completion percentage and Adjusted Yards per Attempt remain high after correcting for the outlier low-attempt and his last perfect game. Vick looked worse in the same spot vis-a-vis Geno. So there's cause for optimism with Geno from a statistical standpoint. Meanwhile Carr has low Adjusted Yards Per Attempt, low NEP, low QBR, low everything except completion percentage (moderated by Carr's low YPA). McGloin looked better in about the same spot. Carr is probably a bust.



No one has produced a convincing rationale for why McGloin's NEP in 2013 is better than Carr's in 2013. Pryor in the same 2013 Raiders' offence had a negative NEP too, then magically McGloin appears and things improve. This implies Pryor was the problem in 2013just like Carr is the problem in 2014.

The Saints' D last year was historically poor. Saints in 2016 still have no pass rush and Carr still has an above average line. Therefore Carr playing well against them doesn't mean anything. You should just stick to being wrong about politics.
