AEW has no excuse to be as bad as it is

I'm not saying it's terrible, but the writing/character development should be way better considering the former WWE talent they have. It's not something I find myself wanting to watch...at first yes, but now nah.

I know we all bash on WWE BUT they still possess the magic to turn ppl into someone you care about. They possess the ability to give you a name and it usually looks/fits and gives you an identity vs just going with your real name.

WWE got Rusev over as a major heel, then again with the wildly popular Rusev Day stuff. He should be better than he is in AEW. Instead he's basically just a guy. A guy named Miro. "Miro" doesn't pop for me.

WWE can basically release anybody(short of Lesnar or Reigns) and have no fear of AEW doing anything significant with them to challenge wwe for that top spot.

It's a shame really.

I want them to do & be better, but they gotta get better booking and creative!

Yeah, I know he's the TNT champ. That's the equivalent to WCW TV champion title...held by guys like Jim Duggan. And maybe the equivalent to the defunct European champ in WWF.

I mean, he should be in the world title picture. I get the Orange Cassidy thing, but he shouldn't be in world title matches.

WWE has had a monopoly on the pro wrestling industry for 20 years. You think many people worth a shyt in this business hasn't been through there?

I swear people ONLY talk like this in terms of pro wrestling. In any other industry when a talented worker becomes available, they are EXPECTED to be picked up by rival organizations/teams/etc. Only in wrestling can an undeniable talent become available and people discourage companies from signing them because "WwE rEjEct!"

The TNT title has probably headlined more shows than any other belt. ONLY main eventers and popular performers have held the belt thus far. You aren't even pretending to be objective here.

I don't care about them being "rejects". Wrestling, back to the territory days, has always been guys moving around to different feds. It's just different now bc there's not much competition the past 20 yrs.

I just want AEW to be on WWEs level and they're not getting it done. They have the talent, they have the MONEY....no other rival fed has ever had both.

They need to put a better product out.

Cuz that’s clearly not what they said or how they are building it as.

If that’s how you feel, then respectfully that’s how you feel. But they never said it was a lower title. They always talked it up from its inception

No different from how in ROH they treated the Pure Title with high respect and in TNA with how they for the most part always tried to treat the X Division title with high respect

We all have our opinions and it’s fair and free to have them….. but it’s always funny to me when we go against want we are being told. “Well such and such is a jobber BECAUSE I SAID HE WAS A JOBBER” or “this title or division is lesser BECAUSE I SAID ITS LESSER”
