PREACH! Adam Page hasn’t proven to be a top guy and he never will be a top guy. He’ll rather listen to his buddies that only achieved indie success and worthless 5-6 star match ratings than actual guys who made it to the big stage and became top guys/legends in the wrestling business.
If Page would’ve humbled himself and allowed guys like Punk, Regal and etc to take him under they’re wing and he become a student, he would be a much better wrestler. Instead he’s going to be forever known as a spot monkey who can do a bunch of cool looking moves that the crowds will love but will quickly forget when the next match starts because the wrestlers are doing the same shyt.
Punk is far from being the wrestler he was in his prime and yeah he’s an arrogant a$$hole in his own right but like I said last night…How would you feel if the EVP’s for a company I work for is continuously blasting you through the media and plant fake stories out there that aren’t true?
The Bucks and Co put the battery in Page’s back to shoot on Punk and bring backstage shyt into light and it backfired…
Now Page looks like an idiot…
AEW homegrown talent got to realize that they aren't WWE yet. They may been the closets to ever push WWE, but they are still levels above them. They need to humble themselves and realize that they got to work together.
At the same time.... All this could of been avoided if "I don't take advice from anyone" Ultimate Warrior Page ask if it was okay to do a personal dig on live TV... Especially one that involves real litigation and was a nasty break up that you don't know the full story.
Well, you poked the bear and you got your p*ssy friends to leak it. You could of just been a man and took that receipt.
But nooooooo... It had to keep escalating. Then, you had Punk go off, and air it out completely with Colt. Did Colt wanted to be embarrassed on TV for no good reason? Sharing a bank account with his mother. Punk didn't want to do that, and he didn't for 8 years.
Punk, EVPs, and Page all acting like a bunch of big bytches, but this all could of been avoided if Page acted professional in the 1st place.
Now... It looks like Page was deliberately trying to divide the locker room. Punk was calling out their bullshyt.
Nobody fukking wins in this bytchfest.
