I broke this down a while back and I doubt this season changed much, but since 2001 the only other afc team that’s had more than one year of good coaching, quarterback play, defense, and luck all in the same season or even 3 of those 4 has been Denver in 2013 and 2015, and then in 2013 Denver lost half the offensive linemen on the roster to injury and half their defense too.

Chargers getting in would have made it somewhat competitive. Only case I can make is that Jacksonville blew out the steelers and Chiefs blew out the Pats. Steelers are not invincible by any means.

Steelers could get dropped especially if AB ain't back and 100% but the Pats got the one seed and there is always some fukk shyt going on in that building. Watch the Chiefs come in and it's zero degrees and a foot of snow which renders their speed on offense useless

Imagine this.
Colts finish 4-12, awful season. But we SWEEP the Texans!
Even though we sweep and finish with the same record, we get the better draft pick.
Texans don't even own their draft picks, so they went 4-12 for nothing..
Real talk though, the AFC South is on the rise. Sacksonville, Mariota, Watson, Luck......if these coaching hires turn out well for us and Tenn we will be dangerous as a whole.
The AFC should be fun as hell to watch next year. I wanna see what impact Gruden will have on Carr and the Raiders. How will Luck and the Colts fare under a new coaching scheme? Will Watson bounce back from the injury?

eh...if Chiefs D could stop the run and if Jags had a QB who wasnt a turnover machine theyd be right in the thick of it. and tbh both can upset the other teams.
Pats and Steelers are just too consistent, which is the key in the NFL. those offenses are well oiled machines that almost never break down. and their defenses of course are very good, NE looked like trash on D to start the season...and then theyve improved big time.

Even so, Watson>>>>>bum ass luck. That draft pick you mentioned got them a franchise qb so there’s no loss.
Also, the colts fukked themselves again by winning a meaningless game in which:
A. Gave the Texans a last place schedule for next season
B. Worsened the colts draft position
