Is the end goal of men’s happiness just to get a woman?
To me that’s like the credits rolling after the sex scene in a movie
Humans are a social species. This is why social media is as big as it is-- the need to interact with other humans is a basic necessity that is integral to our psychology, and when you give people the ability to reach farther than their community... well, you get Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, IG and Tik Tok.
For men, we have an innate instinct to mate. It is incredibly powerful, and you see this same behavior in 99% of other male animals on this planet. That's why people joke about thinking with our dikks. That is real, and incredibly difficult to overcome.
Women have an innate need to pair bond; that is, they have a biological urge to seek out the most powerful male they can attract and procreate with him.
All of this + modern society combines to create the mix that we see today. Think about it-- if most women are seeking the best men (thereby increasing competition amongst men), and men have an overwhelming biological urge to mate,
then of course the end goal of a man's happiness is to get a woman.
63% of young men in the United States are single. SIXTY-THREE PERCENT. Only 34% of young women are single.

For Valentine’s Day, 5 facts about single Americans
What we see is entirely expected in a society where women have sexual agency and freedom. Left to their own devices, women naturally seek out high value men, leaving everyone who doesn't fit that descriptor alone.
Compare this to other countries where women don't necessarily behave the way American women do, and it only makes sense men flee to those places.
