Norfeast groovin…
White people had 3 weapons

Jesus
Guns
Disease

Jesus justified their brutality and was used to enslave indigenous people mentally

Guns gave them advantage against primitive weaponry.

Disease enabled them to wipe out entire populations.

Capitalism fueled the advancement. And it still fuels it to this day.

At a basic level yes those were major factors but to truly get a lot of details helps you really understand what happened across the board. The shyt we live through today are residues of the past that’s why it important to learn history.

None of that was necessary since Africans had a system of slavery well-established along the coast and the interior centuries beforehand. Europeans were just another customer whose demands were eagerly met by Africans who benefitted from the trade to the point they objected to it being abolished. Jesus wasn't a consideration and wasn't needed by Africans to justify enslaving weaker tribes. Africans traded slaves for guns against weaker tribes to enslave them. Africans were resistant to European diseases, but Europeans weren't resistant to African diseases, which is why they rarely went inland and depended on African slave traders. Africans gained wealth from the slave trade but hamstrung
their own economic development.

Without the cooperation of many Africans, the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade wouldn't have happened.

So which African country did they have this trade agreement with? Kenya? Nigeria? What president or ruler signed off on it, why isn't any countries or sovereign rulers ever named? Why did it span multiple regions, was there a multi country deal?
We barely have trade relationships with africa today, but back then they orchestrated a deal with multiple nations to take their people in exchange for basically nothing?
The Nations that had those agreements no longer exist. Fortunately, there are MANY documents naming various and sundry African rulers and tradespeople who willingly participated in the trade which are known by African scholars...

Realistically....African Diaspora and Africans have the same beef with the sane enemy as of January 2nd, 2023.

After you win that war with yall enemy l, then you bury the hatchett or we can grind the axe out...but until the main war is won...anything that divides us any further is waste of our time.

Yes Africans had their hand in fukk shyt...but we will work that shyt out after we topple this global system.

Up there with one of the worst takes on this site. Un-ironically, trying to hold Africans responsible for the trans Atlantic slave trade is a common ws talking point, so I guess its on brand for TLR.
None of us were there, but
Unfortunately, they had to be partially culpable. The white man wasn't just coming over trip after trip and kidnapping or forcing ppl on the boats.

They can see a ship coming from a mile away, after about the 3rd or 4th time, everyone could run when the ship is pulling up.

I’m not just taking about Africa. I’m talking about North, Central and South America as well.

And I’m not just talking about the west African slave trade. I’m taking about colonialism throughout the entire continent. Africans were forced into slave labor and millions killed in other countries.

They didn’t just trade goods for slaves. They enslaved natives, colonized their land and pillaged the land.

The African slave trade was only a few chapters of the book.

And yes, Africans shytted on other Africans. No different than white countries shytting on other white countries. It’s human nature.

But Africans didn’t go into Europe, trade resources for white slaves, ship them half way across the gobe, while also killing millions of people across two continents either.

As a matter of fact, you’re either a racist CAC or a cook. Either way, take this neg and stick it up your ass (pause).
