I've been thinking tho, since we have proof that a cougar/mountain lion can get taken out by a wrestling move by us humans, can we do the same if a wild dog ran up on you from behind? And if so which would be the easier fight?

Example. There was a video of a woman on a bridge. All of a sudden a cougar appeared at the other end of the bridge approaching her. This woman happened to have her phone out recording nature. Saw the animal. Started uttering silent “oh my god”s while still maintaining a steady grip of her phone to record the encounter. The cougar saw her and scurried right past her, a lil scared itself.

Had that been me or most other people I woulda most likely jumped off that bridge and lost the phone in the process.

It's almost those prey species are just designed for turning grass into meat for higher animals. They have horns on top of their head -- which means they have to practically stick their necks into the predators mouths to defend themselves.
