african soap is good if you want a clear face. And it doesn't completely dry your skin like Irish Spring or other Name brand soaps...

cocoa butter is a good alternative for shea butter and it smells better too

I use this from amazon

$8 for a pound and you can chop it up into little pieces and put it into a soap bottle with water to break it down and it will last you for a few months.
