I tried to find this book...but there only seems to be a French version.

Yup I started with civilization games too back then. These grand strategy games are way more fun and complex. I got the latest one (4) and I'm still playing with Mali. I pretty much got the whole West Africa on lock.... Got an explorer in Brazil colonizing and making homies, we gone take out Portugal and Spain before they even get an idea of colonialism
