I feel like Nike only doing this because they know most new sneakerhead are trend obsessed clout chasers and are afraid that Nike might become played out altogether because they've lost the core black audience to designer sneaker market or many OG black sneakerheads have left the game altogether.

This isn’t a “solution”. You can just create additional accounts and send something to friends and family like they’ve always done. I have a cousin whose deep in this sneaker resale shyt. There will always be loopholes.
