That's kinda crazy when you think about it, because he's all I hear in the streets. Even at work, if I play his shyt, half the place starts rapping/"singing" along...

Futures popularity has sky rockted since then. When it dropped he was viewed more as a flash in the pan rapper. I think hell double those sales next album.

this.

Future just keeps going up and up.

He's the 2013 version of Wyclef

So when people brag about how many records their favorite artist sells what they're really bragging about is how many white people love their favorite artist?

So in essence the more successful an artist is on Billboard the bigger Uncle Tom he is?

:ohhh:

It sold 41K copies it's first week (basically Buddens/Spitta type numbers with their most recent lps that haven't cracked 100k yet) and now stands within a stone's throw of 300K...rap albums don't typically end up selling 6 or 7 times what their first week was in total...the unusual album sales trajectory speaks towards the obvious, the album had legs and Future is a lot bigger and more popular now than he was when Pluto first dropped...he's in great position going forward

but yet nobody's running to the store to pick up his current album. what makes you think that his next album will do numbers? as far as i know, he had a buzz when his first album dropped. his support doesn't translate to sales.

Its incredible he'lll eventually hit gold after how bad his label and guarded personality failed him on the debut:ohlawd:.....I didn't like it too tuff, outside the singles the songs on that album wuznt fukin with majority of songs on Astronaut Status that had just came out...he blessed us with so much classic free shyt this yr its a must cop.

Impressive numbers when you think how much it sold initially. If they started with Neva End instead of Magic (Remix) and actually promoted it, it couldve done even better.

Dude is more popular now than when the album dropped. You know some Drake and Young Money fans didn't want to mess with him because of his situation with Drake over the "Tony Montana" video. Yes, that is how some people are. Plus, the album lacked solid promotion. He should get that the next go around.

I expect Future's next album to do way better number among casual rap fans. A lot of people that listen to Future didn't buy his album. Let's not forget, white people are the ones that push album sales more now than ever. Once the internet became readily available, black people stopped buying albums for the most part.
