SCIENCE is what gets all that bullshyt pseudoscience thrown out. This hair bullshyt was backed by no studies, no researchers, no peer review, it was the exact kind of pseudoscientific bullshyt that your anti-evolution flat-earther covid-denying Ann Coulter-supporting idiot ass is always pushing. Even the man who testified about the hair admitted that he had no methodology at all for determining how likely his match was to be correct, he was really just fukking making it up as he went along.
Science is what got "hair science" thrown out of court in the early '90s. First, in the 1970s the hair science started getting challenged by real scientists because there were no studies backing up their results. Then in the 1980s when they started getting DNA results, they started realizing the hair science matches weren't holding up to DNA results, so they did a massive study of hair samples in hair science cases and used that study to prove that 10-15% of the hair science results were bullshyt. REAL science.
