It's not a physical thing. Perjury is when you lie under oath. If you go to court and knowingly give false testimony, you can be charged with perjury after the fact.
He may not have committed perjury. He and his accountant/s may have just been wrong about his assets. But it's also possible that he committed perjury.
That's over my head.
