There is no reason for Seth to come back as a face. He was a piece of shyt for 2 years, everyone hated him, but now he's back and he should just automatically be a super face because you don't like Roman?

Bringing him back as a face would be the most inconsistent character booking in years.

Actually him staying heel for a while is the right thing to do. Before he got hurt his storyline wasn't complete and he was nowhere near close to turning face yet. Let it happen naturally after this feud and then pair him and Triple H up again and then make it happen like they wanted to do originally.

You can't treat tweets and PR the same as hype on the show itself. No one is in character while doing PR, and most dudes don't even tweet in character most of the time.

Heel coming back shouldn't be an automatic face turn, especially not when the heel is THE TOP heel and miserable pieces of shyt that have made the entire roster and fans hate them for years. At no other time of Edge's multiple months missing injuries did he leave as a heel and come back as a face.

You already see the direction they're goin' in with Steph backin' him off and tellin' him things have changed... but y'all really want Seth to be a good human being outta nowhere, after he was the biggest dirtbag on the roster for all of '14 and '15?

For Seth to just show up as a face with no real explanation or dramatic turn would completely negate one of the biggest storylines in recent years. Do you not recall WHY he's a heel in the first place?

He broke up THE SHIELD.

He can't just show up like, "Hey guys....I was hurt and the time off made me realize, I'm sorry for stabbing you guys in the back, throwing you in the bushes, and fukking my former brothers out of multiple title opportunities, so love me now."

Not without a build. He shows up face and what? People are supposed to trust him now because he says so? He's been talking shyt and stomping heads through bricks for all that time and snap...he's face. Let his interactions with the people he turned his back on his brothers for make him finally realize WHY he made a mistake and when he FINALLY gets to give Steph or Trips those receipts, THEN he can rise to the top as no. 1 face.

Last night Seth Rollens did his job. He's a heel he needs the crowd to hate him so he reminded the IWC of all those things said about him during his reign. Edge did the same thing with Cena it's heel 101, to be a strong heel you must stick it to the fans and when confronted by the babyface act like you want a fight then leave the ring. What you thought attacking the face champ they're seriously pushing was going to turn him face that instant.


No wonder Vince thinks we're all morons.

when seth was in that ring you could feel it in the crowd. they would have followed him to the end of the earth last night. that's the type of thing you're never going to get with roman no matter how hard you try at this point. what happened last night is why we're all here and why we watch wrestling. i haven't felt that that outpour of genuine, real emotion in a long time.

for those of you that believe they can't just flip the script and make roman heel, may i ask why? can you tell me exactly what it is that they have invested in this guy? because i can't think of anything. all i know is that on one hand you have a guy that everyone hates and on the other hand you have a guy that everyone loves. there was a time when this call would have already been made.

it would have been super easy to turn seth babyface last night. stephenie comes out, blames him for all her recent troubles, seth is taken aback, lashes back out at her in epic fashion, frees himself from the shackles of the company, boom... huge pop. now he is finally unleashed to do whatever he pleases and he doesn't have to hold back for anybody.

fukk it if i was the one calling the shots i would just give him the belt now. give the audience what they want and let this guy go over. after roman loses the belt he can blame it all on the fans. how we abandoned him, how we were all jealous of him.
