If we talking about top 50 rappers, I don't know NY is so far ahead:patrice:, but probably LA is the 2nd

In terms of my top 20, N.Y has the most rappers in it I believe, then possibly Houston.

Houston only got Face on there:patrice:

L.A at least got Snoop and cube and arguably the best producer in dr. Dre
Houston got Face, K-Rino, Z-Ro who all in my top 20. Also got Big Mello, Bun B, Geto Boys as a whole, Trae Tha Truth, Point Blank if you count him etc.

LA definetly got great rappers too, just think I may personally have more rappers from
Houston in my top 20.

Z-ro ain't in no top 20. Stop it.

I can throw names like MC Ren and Ras Kass and be like they are top 20 rappers if u admire krino and Z like that because they are better

Z-Ro is in mine, infact a lot of people have him a lot higher than that. Have you heard Z-Ro's ish?... He's got a number of high quality albums and great work. He's certainly put his work in.

MC Ren is nowhere near K-Rino to me, that's not even a fair comparison. Ras Kass is certainly great and he's probably in my top 20 too or at least in contention.

Ultimately it comes down to different opinions but I have heard all the work though from them all and that's my opinion based off that.

I meant to compare Ren to Zro and Kass to K
I bought "I'm living still" and I downloaded cocaine or whatever its called. I heard 2 MC Ren albums in Kizz my black azz and shock of the hour and Ren is to me the superior rapper.

K-Rino just isn't my cup of tea. His beat selection is very iffy. Ras Kass too but at least not on Soul on Ice which was a masterpiece

I know, that's what I'm saying, to me K-Rino is far superior and Z-Ro is better too. Don't get it twisted though, I fukk with MC Ren, I like his music and respect his skill and work with N.W.A and some of the solo work, but I just have the other 2 higher.

Have you heard all of Z-Ro's albums though? He has at least 7 or 8 very good ones, he's really put his work in, if you don't feel him stylistically that's a preference understandably but he's put in a lot of quality work over the years, some people just know him as the dude that sings and does hooks but he has some extremely heartfelt emotionally driven deep songs that are also showcasing a high level of MC skill. He's a pretty unique MC and he's got a catalogue that is very solid too.

Again I'm not sure how much K-Rino you've heard, but taking that out of it, as an MC got to be acknowledged that he's at the highest level, lyrically and MC wise in general. So many things come down to preference at the end of the day, but I'm not mad at anybody picking Ren either cause at least he's not wack and is dope, just objectively what K-Rino has showcased skill wise is a lot more, whether someone feels a beat or not is very subjective, K-Rino got plenty beats I really like.

Ras Kass seems to be improving his beat selection from that album with Apollo Brown onwards so hopefully he's on an upwards trajectory there. Was even some beats I liked on Soul On Ice though, Ras also a first rate lyricist, love hearing him rhyme, may be my favourite west coast MC, at least in the conversation with a couple of others.
