Alot of youngins running around on TheColi that dont know shyt about the GOAT CB of All-Time:pacspit:

Made me think about a couple years back when Primetime was on NFL network shytting on their placement of him in the Top 100 players of all-time:russ:

http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-netwo...d81b54605/Sanders-appalled-by-spot-in-Top-100

"Who ever made this list should be slapped"
"You dont even want to look at me on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down, and then you see me on 4th and kick the ball out of bounds? And im 34?"
"My game was so strong, they had to find something wrong":whew:

I got this quote from another website
"In his prime, Deion's shutdown numbers were incredible. Nobody else has come close to what he did

STATS LLC started tracking what cornerbacks allowed back in 1995, which means they didn't track that kind of stuff for the first half of Deion's prime. But here's what they have Deion allowing from 1995 to 1998 --

1995 -- 16-for-47, 158 yards, 0 TD, 2 INTs (9 games)
1996 -- 22-for-46, 225 yards, 0 TD, 2 INTs(16 games)
1997 -- 12-for-39, 159 yards, 0 TD, 2 INTs (13 games)
1998 -- 20-for-42, 198 yards, 0 TD, 5 INTs (11 games)

Do yall see these numbers? Basically Prime was targeted 174 times and gave up only 70 completions for 740 yards and 0 TDs, with 11 INTs over 49 games from 95-98:damn:

That's about 1 completion per game for 15 yards per reception against whoever he was checking for over 4 seasons:wow:

Deion Sanders aka Prime Time, 6'1, 200lbs, running a 4.1 40yd dash

*edit* Primetime did NOT specifically cover only the opposing teams #1 WR. It wasnt really like that in the 90s were one corner followed the #1 WR all around the field. The stats posted above are from who he was covering. He would actually shut down an entire side of the field and let his team's defense roll the coverage over to the side of the other corner if they were lined up against the #1 WR on that play.*

Yeah, they disrespecting the best cover DB ever. I saw this dude with my own young and impressionable eyes at the age of 6 playing for the Falcons. I was forever a Falcons fan after that. When he caught an interception, there was a 95 % chance he was going to bring that all the way back to the house. I haven't seen anybody like that since. There was quarterbacks who would not throw the ball his way for years. The Falcons were not in position, but he had championships with every other team he played for in the league. He had some of the best hands in the league.

I remember tuning in every Sunday as a kid and just laughing and being in awe of this man.

I don't know how it was in San Francisco and Atlanta, but in Dallas, all 10 guys except Deion would huddle around the MLB for the playcall. Deion would be off to the side already in position to cover his half of the field.

The man didn't abide by playcalling. He didn't need schemes. He didn't give a fukk if he had safety help over the top. He didn't need a LB taking away any underneath stuff from his man. He simply lined up 1-on-1 with his WR, and took him out of the game. Not just his man, though. QBs simply avoided the ENTIRE half of his field.

You remember Madden 06 with that Vision Cone bullshyt? Primetime Deion Sanders meant the right analog stick didn't go past midfield. QBs didn't even check the other side cause they knew what was going to happen.

***snorts 28seconds***

Prime only weakness were on slants, u had to have timing and you had to mix em up, because once he figure your offense off and he comes up for press coverage, u will not beat em within 5 yds after he jams u in.

one reason the 49ers always kept rice in motion, rice knew how to get on the inside of em, irvin did too, but he didnt have the hands rice had.

prime played possum with alot of qbs too on slants too he would play off and bait em, soon as they fall for it 6

he did brett n freeman like that alot, gave brett hope that he could get freeman on slants, prime bait em and walk it to the end zone, brett wont throw it to that side ever again.

Young and Rice kicked prime ass on it

troy and mike could of done it but mike didnt have the hands also deion knew he could frustrate irvin by playin his game which was bein physical.

I've seen alot of film of deion and notice everytime rice beat em it was on the inside of him off a slant

Calvin speed so overrated. I don't care what he ran at the combine. His game speed isn't impressive. I mean, for his size it is but he's not a 4.3 guy

Come on now, Megatron would have sex with Deion on the field with todays rules. Anyone who disagrees is a bytch.
