Earlier this year the Raiders voided millions of Christian Wilkins' supposed "guaranteed " money for what was reported to be comparable injury issues. Ofc the milquetoast sports media didn't find it a matter of concern... barely wanted to even mention it articles....in the passing coverage it did receive, it wasn't even highlighted

To take the word of a corporation by default regarding money and contracts is pretty foolhardy. I hope yall don't find yall selves in any kinda arbitration with your employer...they'll say whatever they can get away with. And they are likely to already have an extensive relationship and favor within the legal system.

Good luck signing anyone else :mjlol:

Nobody gonna want to play for a wild card team that doesn’t even honor its own contracts

:mjlol: dumbest shyt I've heard. Everyone always wants to play for the Niners. Aiyuk fell off and turned into a bum. Nobody cares.

I'd have my lawyers all over this talking about missing meetings and team activities. If it don't spell out in the contract my future guarantee's can be voided for that then we going to be sitting in a court room.

He got more than enough for a lifetime :yeshrug:

60 mil is enough to make you ask yourself if you REALLY give a fukk about continuing to go to work at a place you dont like :francis:

huh? :gucci: He wasn't showing up to any team meetings/events and wasn't communicating with them

You can't no show/no call to a job and still expect them to honor a contract wtf :mjlol: there's language in the contract to void it if that happens

Breh if he wasn't showing up to meetings or events that means tons of other people also saw it happen, it'd make no sense for them to lie about something that could be proven false instantly :patrice:

This is what matters, if that language isn't in the contract then they can't do shyt, but considering if the NFL and they got them on a tight leash that shyt was probably in there :upsetfavre:

In a legal pay to play situation against an entity with infinite resources, it isn't that simple. They already have/had advanced professional council on how to legally make these kind of moves and defend them.

Aiyuk doesnt have this leverage or foresight

:snoop: Bruh fukked up his bag over nothing...cmon man...
Correct me if I’m wrong but his guaranteed was only $76 million on the contract and he’s already made $50 million of that ($60 million total career). We’re going to see this more often as these salaries balloon it gets to a point that they’ve got that fukk you money and stop giving a fukk. Yeah an extra $30 million would be nice but if he doesn’t get it he still has $60 million
