are you going to sit here with a straight face and tell me that the democratic party, which elects its nominee with superdelegates, has any interest in abolishing the electoral college?
At this point you're not even talking about real issues nor are you discussing anyone's stated position.
With all that's going on in the world, you have decided the most important thing democrats should run on are:
- Getting rid of super delagates
- Urging to have a convention on the electoral college.
- Name me a time Where superdelegates swung the primary against the vote of the people?

The conservative circles I frequent are praying the Dems run Bernie or Warren.

What a sobering reality that is..
I have had the misfortune to work amongst conservative cacs for years so I always had to hear their drivel. But this is different. He tapped into the psyche of the white male and to them he represents their best interests. They not only openly support him they are proud about what he brings. Hearing them speak makes me realize several things:
-Trump does no wrong
-The media is against him for everything.
-He is a victim
-He speaks his mind
-He loves America
To the porn star stuff they say he wasn’t married at the time and all guys are horn dogs. They question what democrat could go against him and win at this point. The extreme nature of politics puts him at an advantage, since he’s telling the truth they want to hear. They don’t want illegals here, they don’t want to deal with transsexuals, they like hearing somebody “stand” up to world leaders. They also think he will get a nobel peace prize for brokering peace with Kim Jong Un. In their words “all the other presidents were scared to do anything and here he comes when the nuclear testing is happening and he says ‘enough!’”. To them it’s about America and jobs. fukk the environment, because climate change is a liberal conspiracy.
Bottom line is they look at all that has happened in the world as an attack on white males and this is their rallying cry. The only way to battle that is with an equally unifying force on the other side.
This. It's part of the reason I think the Mueller investigation will ultimately fail to get rid of Trump. I think it will uncover that he acted unethically and is in general a lying, cheating scumbag but it won't be enough to impeach him.
I'm going to do my part at the polls, but I don't expect Trump to go anywhere

Saw this coming 10 years ago. Conservatives built a alternative news network and convinced their followers that anything they hear elsewhere that contradicts what they hear on Fox is "fake news." They've got them so brainwashed they vote against their own economic interests and if you tell them something 180 degrees different 3 months later, they accept it without question. The majority of white people voted for Trump, and according to the last poll I looked at 90% Trump voters don't regret their decision. So while it obviously doesn't mean all, it's a statistical fact that white voters generally like Trump.
Also, that article couldn't be more wrong. It's premised on the idea that if Democrats are nice enough to Trump voters and don't say anything too mean about Trump, they can sway them. That never works and just ends up demotivating their own base to turn out and costing Dems elections. Anybody who still fukks with Trump at this point is not rational and is never going to be swayed, so the last thing the Dems need to do is pander to them.
The only way for Dems to win is to turn out their own base. Ignoring their own voters to pander to Republicans will just lead to more Ls.

Its all about the economy, that's all they care about...
The common theme is "I'm doing great with Trump" which is a direct result of the economy he inherited from Obama combined with the tax plan which has put more money in pockets...I remember briefly discussing the tax plan with one of my wife's clients, when I asked him if he read it he says "no but lets pass it and see what happens, doesn't work change it"...Of course the first year of the tax plan gave him a big tax break so this moron fell for the con hook line and sinker...if he bothered to read it he'd see a year from now it will be a different story from him...Funny thing is this guy hired my wife because he got scammed by a con man...
Same thing with trade, they believe all this nonsense about trade deficits when in reality there aren't any...The Chinese are the only ones fukking us...
What none of these morons realize is his trade war and tax plan will have them in financial hell a year from now and when we get to that point it will be way to late for them to save themselves...Just ask all the people that got fukked in 2008...
