just wait for them BBB air Lonzo 1's to drop :win: 0 losses

i made this, so if people try to compare.
or wonder why lonzo ball won't work as a bball shoe draw outside of his father's meddling's.
plus, why it typically never works outside of nike's basketball division or jordan brain trust.
plus has only worked twice outside the nike brain trust.

played for the goat black basketball coach and highest iq big man pedigreed teacher in john thompson

- was at nike's original hood tastemaker streetwear aesthetics college georgetown

- rookie of the year

- reebok went in house to their pump slash michael change tennis cushioning styleshoe for basketball giving it a different look for a sig shoe.
- had an iconic runner style toe box instead of the typical basketball shoe toe box.
- featured a play on the nike air bubble system just reebok's little fanfare style that was aesthetically pleasing but not far out the box

These and the fact that he had a certain style and flyness about him as a person was what made it work

i think ai sold the shoe cause the ai shoe never fit into the socalled idea.
in general of what people supposedly liked as far as basketball shoe aesthetics.
the grant hill was more a dope shoe company who came up in the dope boi era of the air jordan i, task force, troop, dia dora, bk, le coq sportif, and the racc00n tail hat.
finally got away from their typical shoe design and then just jacked the jordan nine.
which was smart cause for the time the jordan ix, was one of the most appealing streamline shoes in a long time for the jordan brand.

it also imo, made the taxi colorway into what the taxi would become as well.

bytches would get so horny when they saw that prestigious WB sign:jawalrus:

Fila had really great design for most of the GH line, it had that certain signature something that most signature lines don't.The Question is just a classic shoe, AI was bridging hip hop culture with NBA success and everyone flocked to the shoe. The streets could relate to his style and the 'burbs wanted to emulate it. I want to say the KB8 was close, but while a great design it didn't resonate with people all that well, none of Kobe's Adidas' did though there are some nice kicks in their.

I thought the TMAC1's were fly when they first dropped

adidas-t-mac-1-all-star-1.jpg

i don't think tmac lit the world on fire shoe wise like grant or ai.
plus, he had to deal with a cousin who was scared of sharing the spotlight and getting surpassed.
so, he never got that rub he could have gotten from vince.
later on becoming the nike new it guy and him being his cousin's new scottie at the one.

if he would have been embraced by his own cousin and his cousin was willing to be surpassed and share the spotlight in toronto.
i feel he would have had a significant shoe deal and designs and would have permeated way more.
plus, i feel adidas was in that era of tech where they really did not and still don't know basketball shoes.
as he came on to adidas i wanna say when duncan had those catapult style knock off shoe that cost like two hundo.
plus i wanna say they cost 2 bills before any jordan was priced at that price.
so the 2bill price line then was oft putting and tmac's shoe looked and felt inferior in design to the duncan with the crazy tech.

so, his eventual injuries just like grant's made any design sus and eventually his shoe never really popped.

mj had the luck of the mj one and the 63.
then, also the aj ii was manufactured in italy and completely broke all rules from manufacturing.
to even white backed italian leather to the thick hair italian backed leather and minimal markings.
so, when he got hurt, plus the crack epidemic and change of price.
the banned and mystique of jordan never ruined whom he was.
nor ruined the brand or the shoes from permeation.

also back then, trying to get a shot of mike's shoes with a good decisive look was hard back then.
to the point, in every injury vid that recaps the situation...you never see the shoes.

that crop life.
