he was such a struggle rapper on The Documentary it's funny looking back but i give him credit for the leaps and bounds he's made since then..but...
he just does nothing for me as a rapper...he's just there..no real memorable verses, no style of his own..he just's someone rapping over good beats until the hook and then featured rapper comes on.
its always been that way since The Documentary and it will always be that way.
i remember reading, i think, in the XXL with Dre, Busta, Eve and Game himself.
in his interview part he learned to rap by listening to certain albums, knowing the words off by heart and then inputting his own name etc in parts..so he's never really took the time to have a style of his own.
his first two albums are good.
The Documentary, anybody they built up as they did Game could have took been successful with that album.
its the perfect template album..it was all set up for him to come in and do his verses.
Doctors Advocate he proved he could do it on his own and was a well put together album..all his other albums after that and had no real staying power.
