FYI, there was always a Space Force...it was just under the Air Force. Only difference now is that it's its own branch.

and the army space command was definitely under the Airforce which makes me wonder why didn’t they just take all the satellite, tbcm, ibcm types into the space force and take all the cyber/electrionic warfare types into the cyber domain. And merge space and cyber.
