Rocky was watching his friend get beaten into a pulp :wow:

He could had prevented his death

But at the same time, Apollo's ego was too big he did not want the fight to be called off.:patrice:
Is Rocky still to blame for not trusting his gut, or no for listening to a friend's demand?

Apollo is to blame for not wanting Staillion to stop the fight "no matter what." Rocky will always have the guilt of not following his gut and stopping the fight. Duke was just stuck in the middle :damn:

This is true. But everyone knew this fight wasn't for him to get into. Rocky told Apollo they dont know anything about Drago. It wasn't until that fight they knew his might. I felt as soon as Drago threw Apollo over, Rocky had to stop the fight no matter. Wouldn't it be smart to think there's a limit?

But in the end, he was trying to get his word to his best friend. Even when everybody was like :damn:, Apollo was telling him not to. Then we got that final punch. I just looked at it like Apollo going out the way he wanted to.

...its a movie, fight would have been stopped. On the other hand, he should have thrown in the fukking towel. Apollo pride got him killed. This goes back to rocky 2 when duke warned him about fukking with rocky and that he needed to "let it go"

Watch how Apollo blows away Dukes warning smh.

Rocky was wrong for this shyt. As a friend he should've done what was best for him and throw 'the damn towel'. Its like getting into a argument with your drunk friend who wants to drive home. He might cuss you up and down, swear he sober and good to drive; but there is nothing wrong with taking his keys. After awhile cooler heads will prevail and he'll thank you later.

suprised it didnt come up in Creed how Rocky's negligence lead to the death & abandonment issues Adonis
