i remember not so long ago i went on youtube and saw the way you REALLY supposed to play those AOE and was it used to take my like a week to raise a little village and dudes was doing that shyt in a matter of 30mins

My civ was the Mongolians, had me reading about Genghis Khan and all sorts of history. I remember dudes use to be cheap as fukk though and just spam them dam paladins. Game was so piff

They had a big ass strategy guide for it too.

I played against some people like you on there.. it was fun pillaging and fukking their bases up

Loved those games but damn I hated those priests. Dudes used to have like 10 of them and convert my troops before I could get near them.

I used to play AOE2 with friends in school and getting hammered constantly. Then I downloaded a few replays from pros (Maynard I think) and watching on like ' so that's what I'm supposed to do...'

Weren't archers completely unbalanced in the game? Everyone would just mass them.
