Why do y'all do these difficult poles.

I was going to pick OB4CL because of Verbal Intercourse alone.

But Ironman Fish beat alone.

I can't choose:deadrose:

how the fukk you figure.. for one it had a lot of filler because it was a double album. that wu sound wasn't the same as this was like the first post RZA production after his studio was destroyed. Wu Tang was never the same.

Ghost held it down for a while with strong solo albums, but Wu was essentially dead and it began with that album. IT sold a lot based on the hype and name recognition.

The only weak song on there is pretty much Black Shampoo. I think we could all agree disc 1 has no skippers and is damn near perfect.

Cuban Linx is the better album but I def played Ironman more back then

And :wow: @ RZA doing every single track on both of these albums except "Fish"...add Enter the 36, Tical, Return to 36 and Liquid Swords and there has never been a better run from a producer EVER

This isn't even debatable...

Ghostface is top 5 artist to me and has one of the best discographies, but Only Built 4 Cuban Linx is a certified masterpiece and Ironman is not. Iron Man is 4.75/5 because it doesn't hit me as:ooh: like OB4CL

Neck and neck really but OB4CL is somethin' not to be denied.

Ironman was like the real OB4CL sequel... seemed like a great way to follow it up, the way Rae was the guest star on the album, and we got more of that pairing, and with Cappa added on, right before he got damn near wack.

And yeah, this is the last of the "classic" Wu sound. Wu-Tang Forever is like an almost totally different sound- thats more keyboards, violins, strings and shyt like that... 'Ironman' was the last of the grimy drums, heavy soul sampling, movie diaogue, etc. that made up all the other Wu albums before it.

And I agree with EVF, fukkit. WTF was "eh"... definitely not what it should've been.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:

The sound was different. I was expecting more seeing how it took 4 years. The double cd was a mistake and again.. 97 was a funny year. I didn't bump it like I bumped liquid swords or ob4cl. It's almost as if, they tried to do what Nas did with It Was Written.

There were some dope songs but If they would've took the top 12 and made one CD it would've been a lot better.

OB4CL is a masterpiece...heck OB4CL 2 isn't that far behind either.

Iron Man is the shyt but Rae gets this one. I put Iron Man on the same level as Liquid Swords...great albums but not unstoppable great.
