For those with at least decent credit, a good way to get some seed money without a bank is peer to peer (P2P lending). I got my business of the ground with a $5k / 3 yr loan from LendingClub.com. Only $200 per month for payments and it was enough to get some basic equipment, inventory, and start soliciting customers and selling on Amazon.

Always
I've had my own business as my primary source of income for six years. I just shut it down to finish school and get a job to pay for school without working 20 hour days. At its largest I had a PA and two employees. Sometimes I wouldn't pay myself so they get paid and the business stayed open.

Having a business since I was 20 and not having a boss gave me a different mentality than most people my age. I'm highly self reliant and unconcerned with what projections people have for my future. It's very clear to me if I want it I can take it, it's just a matter of time. My best advice is to have no debt tied to your business and decide your audience. I picked a niche market. I don't market to them they just come to me because I'm on the scene and I charge a premium price for a specialised service. You have to understand market value. "How much is your product or skill set worth?"

People who shop at whole foods don't shop at walmart. Think about it. Sustainability is something to consider. Invest your earnings in your business. Remember you're always working and everyone is a client. Working for free isn't a bad idea because that could open the door to a big ass check. Or a build a valuable bridge. Your clients aren't your friends. They will replace you. So shape your business around their feedback. Always ask what they think. Never take criticism of your business personally. Don't mix your personal and professional life.

Breh there are more than a few resources to get captiol for brehs with not so good credit. Accion do micro loans up to like 50 racks and all you need is at least a 575. And they not just for Hispanics Breh. The SBA micro loan program is decent too. They partner with banks to facilitate it in different regions and most of them will work with you on your credit. They really looking more at your business plan if anything. No even if your idea is feasible as much as if just to see if you put the work in and actually put that shyt together properly. It ain't a lot out there but there is some shyt available to folks who don't have good credit.

Sweet.

Eventually i want to do clothing full time and focus on music. I personally have been doing everythjng i can to gain more attention to my brand and my own creative exploits.

My main thing is I blog. I have 3,521 followers at the moment. I style it as an online magazine for art, music, fashion, culture, skateboarding, bmx, and other worthwhile things i enjoy.

The main inspirations behind the current format of my blog are magazines like Richardson, Flaunt, and Paper to original crossover mens lifestyle magazines like Transworld Stance and even graffiti magazines from back in the day.

It's basically a cross pollination of content. Where there's an intersection between low end and high end. The blog has a diverse audience now. The clothing line was something i did from the blog to help establish an identity for it offline.
Yo. Could you post or pm your shop website, blog and music? It's important to support another black person.
