I'll eat the L on this one. Thought they had no chance in hell of signing a quality free agent. Didn't even have to flip any assets to do it. Now on top of Horford, can pitch to Durant that they can flip future Nets pick (pick swap) and some of their young assets into a third big time player to pair with the two of them. This signing helps at least them get in more meetings for free agency. If Ainge makes even one blockbuster they can be a problem next year.
