i remember seeing the video for All For The Money by MC Eiht then when i heard the album version it just didn't sound right, i prefer the video version.

It always depends on what version you heard first. Whenever u hear the other version it sounds weird. For example, NWA fans back in the day always heard the dirty version first. So by the time the radio friendly version came out it was almost like a running joke to see what words got substituted for the profanity, being that cussing was so prominent back then.
