nikkahs want $25 haircuts. You essentially slaving for 9 hours a day, 5 days a week make a measly $70k/yr. That's not chair rental or taxes
Aint no way i could be a barber this day and age with nikkas complaining about prices

Considering most barbers don't pay taxes they need to stfu like they starving. Less texting and arguing about dumb shyt and maybe yall could finish two heads a hour and get $50+ a hr tax free

Tips? You really want to depend on tips to feed your family?
Even if we only include tips, it's $5 at most.Glad I didn't go the barber route.

Barbers winning right now. You not about to get no cut in Atlanta fo no less than $50. That’s about the cheapest you will find. This is in the city, if you go out Decatur or anywhere outside midtown/Buckhead area they probably cheaper. But these nikkas eating good in the city. I suspect people are getting less haircuts though. Cause $70 haircuts staring to become the norm which is crazy.

They charging more because they cutting less people. Or they just want to work less, so they charge more. Imagine being a barber and you charge $100 a cut and you average 3 heads a day?
I don’t know how that’s good for the model long term but I’m sure they know what they doing. Cause less frequent trips could turn into figuring out a way to never have to go again. I can only imagine if you got like 3 sons and in trying to go get they haircut every week in a city like Atlanta

In fairness haircuts have stayed pretty much the same the past 20 years. Now I am not advocating for $100 haircuts but I think 40-50 is not really unreasonable in 2025.
