I really hope that this gets these schools to realize that the only way they're gonna eat off a TV contract is with quality games, not their bands.

better teams > more money> better amenities> better recruits

Yep! Of course, 80% of folks go to games because of the experience and that's what's intriguing to outsiders. But I'm in that small majority that cares about seeing good HBCU football. I couldn't care less about getting my fit off, who has the best band, or the other stuff.
I will be around for a fish plate tho

HBCU's shouldn't just be a place where you go if you weren't good enough to play at a FBS level Division 1 school....or cause you fukked up at a big time program.

and they sure as hell shouldn't be selling their asses to schools like Florida, just for a check to keep their program afloat.

But maybe this is the start of good things to come...
