I was just at MEPS last thursday for the Army. I didnt get to take the ASVAB because I originally planned to join the Navy but changed my mind so my paperwork got messed up. It was a blessing in disguise, im not cut out for that military life but like I said earlier, the Air Force is the safest branch so you're straight.

Well the army is a lot more specific then that hit me up and I'll steer you the right way mos wise...remember for the most part in the army aviation is rotary wings and all the career management fields are very broad so depending in what you want to do the right mos is what you'd need...because you want to do aviation, computers, and medical those are all broad fields in the Army... Like 7-8 MOS per field.
Basic is easy. Just try and stay under the radar. It's the worst at first, but if you have some cool people with you it goes by much quicker. Tech school is cool. If I were you I'd try and go comm. If you can get that top secret security clearance and have that job . 6 figures as a civilian AND you get certs (I know you all love certs…). Don't get a stupid job with no civilian equivalent, or something that pays crap on the outside…
I just went to get my GI bill, I might get out early and go reserves. Honestly, I can't say I have had a bad time. I've traveled everywhere, gotten to live in the big city, and got paid. It's not a life thing for me, but it's not bad to make easy money and build a foundation for yourself. Have fun, and if you have any questions feel free to shoot me a pm!

Basic is easy if you stop your vices right now. I learned the hard way.
Tech School is college, you got dorms, horny bytches, but you get paid. Don't fail out.
Duty Station is cool, just be careful what you say or do in the first couple of months. People in the AF are lazy so they'll look to define you asap.
First of all.... DON'T TRIP you joined the Air Force
If you can run whatever time required for you, that shyt is the ultimate cakewalk. Understand that nothing is legitimately easy because you're in the military, but if you join the Air Force and they accepted you, you're not too bad off.
But by no means is there ANYTHING wrong with the Air force... NOTHING IMO. It's a lot simplier in it's understanding than the people I've worked with. Do you and have fun
