Boardwalk Empire is dope (Crime mob shyt)
. Band of Brothers is short and has a start and finish. (war drama) great imo
Eastbound and Down for Comedy. Silicon Valley too if you like Curb.

The Jinx. Real life docu crime type show. Short series.

Boardwalk empire. Rome. Band of brothers is a definitive mini series all time.

decent watches in bold...can be hit or miss w/ some ppl tho...looking forward to the deadwood movie in may...for me both series had excellent characters in swearengen and vorenus/pullo respectively which kept me hooked but the stories were “just” good and not as compelling as the classic shows the OP mentioned
