Aint like he running wide open tho, and film don't lie Bru . We watched him get locked up by a 3 stringer last week .
Piggy backing off dude above WR1 on any team is rarely ever "running wide open". How many plays are Chase & Jefferson open on, next to none

They produce even with injuries, backups coming in, and the Vikings wasting prime years. Hurts is better than all the options they have to play with, or supposed to be. Why can't he get AJ the ball?

Hurts has gotten him the ball to the tune of :

2022 : 88 catches 1496 yards in 17 games
2023 : 106 catches 1456 yards in 17 games
2024 : 67 catches 1079 yards in 13 games (on pace for 1411 in 17)

What's the difference this year ? The new OC, the QB or the WR who's literally spoken about how he had to get his knee drained before and after games during the last two months of 2024, and then missed all of training camp with an issue in the same knee. You do the math to distribute who's at fault.

if youre watching the games then its clear as day that AJ isnt as explosive as he used to be this year. ive watched hurts throw him the ball to the tune of 3 all pros in the past 3 years being NFL open because he was never a WR who got fully open. chase & jefferson are 100% OPEN OPEN with clear separation on a lot of their targets. them 2 and AJ arent and never been in the same league. like the breh @Stop_It_5 said, injuries have taken a toll on him this year between that knee and hammy problems. it isnt all on AJ though, because the OC isnt doing him much favors either.

Nick deserves smoke too. It's his offense. Howie reduced his role and let Kellen cook. Understandably because of the SB they let him get more involved but it's his scheme and it's terrible

Bru you seen the same thing we all did, a 3rd stringer pressed him he had zero separation .cmon jogging on routes let's be real of course every body can play better but he ain't open like that . Even on them slants he couldn't get a step what are we talking about .

AJ said Seth Joyner gotta be a good boy for them folks in the studio :dead:

AJ the GOAT he staying in Philly forever book it

People don’t know Philly fan base not run by cacs like other teams…
he is good as gone this offseason...
I was under the same impression, and thought things would get better

but 12 weeks into the season, its clearly something bigger (Jalen relationship, lost a step, coaching, etc)

breh may I suggest rewatching the Steelers-Bengals game from a few weeks ago and take a shot every time Chase gets wide ass open ?

elite WRs do get wide ass open because theyre elite. aj no exception either, he gets open too
