Honestly no. I think he'd be just as unhappy with the Chiefs for two reasons. Pat ain't the type to trust guys to just go up and win which you have to do with AJ. The other being there are just too many targets on the Chiefs offense and Mahomes ain't the type to hyperfocus on getting any one player touches. Especially not enough to make proper use of AJ. Plus once Rice comes back I think this offense is going to exploxe and they have control on him and Worthy for another 2 and 3 years. I'd rather they spend that money elsewhere.

He's 28 and just signed his contract in April, 2025. He's not getting another big contract at 31. They're probably going to let him walk at that age.

There's no reason for him to be thinking about his next contract 4 games into this season. He's not happy because he's not getting targets. It has nothing to do with money.
