hilarious that AJ committed back in November and signed his letter of intent on 11/20 but his pops was still attending games from the final 4 on his list for free as of last week. they were at the UNC vs Alabama game last week
Scumbag shyt to be honest. I ain’t a Hubert or Oats fan but come on dawg. He had Bama players attending his games when he was already signed.

I haven't. I'm listening.
Aceboon covered it but his dad made it pretty clear early on in his recruitment he was sending AJ to the highest bidder. Rumor was you wouldn’t even make the Final Cut if you didn’t have at least a base NIL deal of around 2-3 million. shyt rubbed Hurley and Scheyer the wrong way and they backed out.

UConn has it better than most schools that don't really make crazy money from football but at the end of the day they still don't have bread to be giving $7Ms to one player and either way that's not Hurley's MO anyway. Biggest blue chip recruit he's had is Stephon Castle and he ascended to 5 star status after he committed to UConn and his parents weren't moving like how AJ's pops is.

We already have two forwards in this class so I think Oats knew we weren’t getting him. At least gotta try when it’s a generational talent though.

Its a one year deal, you can probably just take out a pay day loan or something as a university. Put it in the company card

He’s the best wing prospect of the last 15-20 years(a generation)

All I'm saying is across multiple sports they have not proven to me that they know what a generational talent is. He'll be ok, nothing special (Again, never seen him play not even highlights)

We can't keep falling for these projections, and then make threads in 2 years.

"It's time we have a discussion about ________"

Best of luck to the young man tho because it's not really about him.
