Mine had BPD.

shyt was really....Really difficult.

I know y'all gotta have stories for days.

I might have a little more sympathy for her now.

My biological sister has bi-polar disorder. She can be doing perfectly fine, but let her hit a real manic phase and she'll go off her meds and run around on her husband with some guy who works for him, or go off half-cocked and wind up a week later in Oklahoma at the casino for no discernible reason. It's like all her impulse control goes right out the window.

Hey, now. 99% of the time, when she stays on her therapy and medicine regimen, she's an excellent human being. But sometimes her brain tricks her into thinking she's 'cured' and all hell breaks loose. It's not an uncommon phenomenon with people on meds, especially if they have side effects. They persuade themselves into switching to some bullshyt vitamins, yoga, and sunshine routine and then . . . disaster.
