Big Johnny was a riot as the GM. Not sure why people despised the dude, i thought he played the douchebag, corporate suck-up to a T (he's had plenty of experience).
And he had moments he wasn't always an over the top heel such as making decisions that if they didn't benefit faces, they at least didn't handicap them. And he treated Otunga relatively well for a lackey.
This AJ shyt.
I guess it'll give the virgins of the world something to cheer for.

It happened so randomly...it's like they couldn't come up with an ending for the wedding angle. So they combined the GM thing with it. Bryan had been 'manipulating' her the whole time I guess but he was mad when she became GM like he couldn't just ask her to give him a title shot or something.
What was the thing with the orderlies backstage? Bryan was planning on have her committed? It wasn't even mentioned after the wedding.

No one is really mad at AJ though, theyre mad at how it was revealed and how stale they are going to make her by overexposing her. They have a habit of that. AJ looks good and shes cute but no one was asking for more but to just keep it going. AJ is still the best thing going in the E at present but they are going to run her into the ground fast. Vince fukked up, not AJ

I love AJ and her character but it was a terrible reveal and I believe the role of GM and title matches and the like should be treated with some kind of importance because if it's not.. nobody is going to care about the results.
The main issue I have is that AJ is great in her current state but as GM she's going to have to carry even more screen time and when the ratings dip they will blame her. So for now it's great for her career but her fall from grace is going to be a hard thing to watch... It's never Vince's fault.. it's always someone else. This time it will be AJ.

She's super-over at the moment and they're trying to capitalize by giving her as much camera time as possible, but yeah, this kind of thing happens a lot and it results in audience burnout. It's too bad because she's legitimately talented and seems to love her role.
On another note, cute as she may be, she looks too much like a little girl for my tastes. But since they cater to a young audience, it does make sense that they'd push her.

If people here was so damn tired of overexposing, they would of turned on the entire product long ago. Vince has ruined MANY fukking angles with his family bullshyt. Even had it overtake the WM 2000 main event. He burys Jim Ross every year in some form yet AJ being named the GM is the worst thing of the last 5 years? LOL. fukking absurd.
