I think Tony is killed by a rival and AJ is motivated by these simp moments to take over the family as boss. He tries to glow up and become "that guy" so that Blanca finally respects him and wants him back. AJ smashes Blanca multiple times to get that last fukk out and make her feel like he has become the man she has always wanted him to be and that he wants her in her life. If AJ learned anything, AJ anti-simps by going M.I.A. on this bytch making her feel like a worthless thot.
