According to sources,, AJ Styles is actually not under contract with New Japan or Ring of Honor at this time. Styles is free and clear to work anywhere he wants to work, and could field an offer fromWWE, but the ball appears to be in their court.

At the age of 38 with a wife and kids, Styles is working where he can make the most money. He is in a great position with NJPW andROH, as he is a top guy in both places and works with all of the top talent. He is also loading up his schedule for early 2016, including working with Rey Mysterio in the UK.

Didn't think he was more then early 30's, this dude need to get his ass to WWE before his body breaks down

So that they can lowball him with a bad contract and he'll get mistreated when he gets moved up to the main roster? Not everyone wants to sign up for that. He won't go there at all if the money isn't right and I'm pretty sure Vince doesn't view AJ as a big money acquisition. Triple H might but I'm not sure how much money he can throw at him.

Every wrassler wants to have at least one match at Wrestlemania, I'm sure at 38 he feels his time is running out

Bullet Club's presence is limited in NJPW because of Tanahashi and Okada's arc ending at WK10, and in ROH land
They stupidly announced Lethal/Elgin for WK10. While a possible great match, no doubt, they spilled the beans on Final Battle.

Still, I don't think he goes WWE.
