AJ's great, Bryan's great.
The funny this is Bryan's limited in the WWE because he's not allowed to pull off some of the stuff he was doing in ROH. Honestly brehs, I get sick of Bryan just relying on kicks the majority of the match, at one point that was like all he did but I know it's not his fault. I can't even choose, Bryan's got AJ when it comes to mic work though. I don't even think AJ's bad on the mic and I think he actually got better during the Dixie feud and he played that silent role well when he was being Sting. Another limiting thing about Bryan is when he just lets the YES chants overtake his promos and he starts saying stuff so the crowd can say YES to him. Again not his fault, just something that gets old. He doesn't seem to do it as much now but sometimes I feel the YES stuff overtakes Bryan as a wrestler, that's not the only thing he's good for.
Match quality wise they're tied, athleticism well I'd say AJ but I believe he kinda slowed down so he can wrestle longer without injuries, he can do flips and stuff but he's not doing them all the time like some of these dudes. He's gained muscle over the years and focuses more on strikes as well as developing a submission finish. Bryan be going over kill on the suicide dives, doing it in every match and stuff. Again(double again) not his fault because the company limits him and tells him how to work but still. Bryan's move set is actually HUGE it's crazy how much stuff he can pull off but you only can see the majority of that stuff in his PWG, ROH or Japan work. Or when Gail Kim decides to pull out that Cattle Mutilation.
I can't choose, both are great.

Gotta go with Bryan just because he did what only a few have done in the "big leagues".
They both are top tier workers in the 2005 Era and Beyond, so in-ring is a wash. Though Styles does botch a lot more. Whereas Danielson rarely botches and can pull a servicable match against a Broom Stick. AJ has had some horrible matches-vs. THe Pope anybody???
AJ is kinda boring on promos, Bryan while isn't the Rock, can definitely hold his own more so than Styles.
I'm going with Bryan, because I have never really went for a face other than being a youngbul. He made me like "the good guy" again- a feat most in the IWC sours 3 months into their run.
With that said,I use to rock with AJ Hardbody until he started to become a farmer

I think Aries better than both.
Yes DB is a really good "technical wrestler" and AJ is a really good "high flying wrestler" but Aries is extremely good at both.
Not to mention he's quicker, stronger (one of this dudes finisher is a Brainbuster and his little ass executed it on Samao Joe and I question whether DB could bodyslam Joe and I dont recall seeing AJ suplex him).
On top of that.... Charisma wise.... I think he way more dynamic than both.
This isnt shytting on them either or trynna say they are trash..... Its like comparing Karl Malone, Charles Barkley and Dennis Rodman. All 3 were great, each had a strong talent, but maybe there was that one thing that slightly made on edge over the others.

Just like one would have to go back to ROH to see some of BD's best work. Though you can see alot over the past few years in Impact. A lot of great work from Aries can be found in ROH as well.... Hell this dude was once the head instructor there... and they just didnt let ANYONE be the ROH head instructor

then, i don't see in how things panned out.
someone would ask someone to choose between either aj or db.
as both in the evolution of what would become the indy style and finish.
that would become amalgamated as the current wwe workstyle.
was all amalgamated from aj versus daniels.
then, the evolution of aj versus anyone from daniels to sabin, etc.
then, having a segueway in that same time of early 2001.
where db, and aj pretty much should be given an award and residuals for online video sites.
as theiR MATCHES are what created the draw for online video originally, as well.
back before youtube had a white marketed motif and design.
