Those joints were AMAZING... I spent sooo much time playing those with friends back in the day. I had a beast created character on there that used to run shyt when I played the boys.
I also enjoyed the the first two Def Jam games and some of the early Smackdowns, but No Mercy >>>

Nah they still can't compare to the Nintendo AKI games. That engine was just

I was playing the latest demo version that's on XBLA and it's not as fun as I remembered it being. Fire Pro returns on PS2 was fun as hell though.

I remember one time I left out and my little brother and his friend were playing and messing with the settings, I came back home and fired it out and was shocked to see the intro with all the wrestlers fat ass fukk. I was confused but laughing at the same time then released they had completely changed the settings for everyone. That's probably the greatest memory I have from that game. I played the Smackdown games (1 and 2 atleast) and they were good but No Mercy was the last time I ever had kid like fun with a WWE game.
... Just as entertaining as the AKI games...
I had Revenge and NM. cousins had VS The World, WM2000, and World Tour.

Fire Pro Wrestling G for the ps1 is my favorite one from that series.
But at the time of it's release... it was the best game on the market (Wrestling) until No Mercy dropped.

as far as AKI games, taking into account game play and roster I may have WCW/NWO revenge as the best with No Mercy in a close second. I also remember No Mercy having a gameplay bug early on
