Yeah this is likely the console version of TK7 announced earlier. TEKKEN 6 did the same thing with an updated version in arcades and that updated version was the console ver

tekken has enough of it's own villains Hehihachi, Kazuya, Jinpachi, Ogre, Azazel, Unknown so why are they stealin one from Streetfighter when the game ain't even a crossover(and we've already seen akuma fight tekken characters albeit with no story)

Ogre, Jinpachi and Azazel are dead. Unknown isn't canon to the main story.

The thing is Ono (SF producer) and Harada (TEKKEN producer) are very, very good friends/borderline brothers outside of work. Since SFxT they've been doing collaborations now that Ono is the head SF guy. Harada is the reason Rashid in SFV exists because he challenged Ono to put a middle eastern character in the game.

Ono and Capcom signed off for Harada to literally do whatever with Akuma/SF in the TEKKEN lore which is why he's in as more than a guest character.
