Coastal elite showing ignorance of America again.... yeah.... run Al Franken

:mjlol:

I don't agree with running Al Franken but what are you implying? That they need to run a candidate that the Midwest working class Whites find agreeable? I have a feeling you would have thought it was a bad idea to run a guy named Barack Hussein Obama after this Trump win.

Hillary has zero charisma. Al Franken has zero charisma. Bernie has charisma. Obama is all charisma.

There are a lot of people disenchanted with how he performed, so I think the Democrats need to nominate someone who isn't tied at the hip to him (i.e. Cory Booker), has charisma, isn't too left (i.e. Gavin Newsom), isn't necessarily considered establishment and yes, can relate to the white working class. Just an opinion.

Too bad Bernie is so old.

Corey Booker is very establishment. He's less of an outsider than Obama was when he ran, and actually defended Bain Capital against Obama in 2012 during the election. Whether or not it was valid is one thing, but a guy like him is so tightly wed to the financial services industry that Trump would tear him a new one on that. The Democrats need a guy or girl who can't be called "crooked X". They need Trump to call their candidate crazy or a Communist or something ideological.
