I fukk with Haymon and the way he moves, but all these threads are ridiculous. We know he's been around since the 80s as a concert promoter. We know he got his start in boxing managing Vernon Forest. We know he's lowkey. We know the fighters love him.

I don't believe any of these power players in boxing are good guys. If you are a good guy you can't last in boxing promotion, period. Not even after the mob is pretty much out of it (seems like).

Therefor I won't cape for any of these dudes, not Haymon, not Arum, not Hearn, not Oscar

But I also doN't think that these guys are evil. They are just "promoters" (yeah Haymon is officially not but he decides about stuff there) who do dirty stuff too and great stuff too, sometimes they are good for boxing sometimes they are annoying and hinder the sport. As far as I'm concerned neither one is a lot better than the other as a person there are just promoters who are better at their jobs than the others.
So I doN't buy these narratives abut x being the good guy, white knight of boxing and y being the bad guy who hurts the sport. In fact I find it pathetic how many network/promoter fans are in boxing community who decide who they like or who they don't like based on which channel the fighter appears or which promoter the fighter is with.

Haymon is as good as you can get from what I have seen. Paul Williams is making money off real estate investments after he got paraylzed, and I think he is still helping Prichard Colon after he got out of that coma. He bought a time slot during the Olympics to get Spence more fans. I think he still has the record with 6 millions viewers. We all know what he did for Floyd. The difference with Haymon and everyone else is what he does for them out side of boxing. Leo Santa Cruz named his son after AL . His brother used to be a fighter and he saw what he went through, so I guess that is why he doesn't take advantage of them.
