Whatever Jefferson lacks in defensive ability, he makes up for in his offensive game. Jefferson was 13th in scoring for centers @ 12.0 PPG last year (47 games played in regular season) & 4th in scoring for centers @13.3 PPG in the post season.

Jefferson is a nice low post scorer but a blackhole who kills ball movement and ass defender...

They're both one way players, but Noah's defense is more valuable than Jefferson's offense.

However at this point in both players careers, Jefferson would be more valuable as a player than Noah.

Pacers offence vastly improved this off-season but defensively they have regressed. It will be interesting to see how it all shakes out over there come all-star break next year.

Jefferson actually signed a below market contract if we are going off of the ones signed by the likes of Mozgov and Parsons. Plus he will only probably be asked to play like 25 minutes a game with them probably wanting to play Turner at center a lot and Thad at power forward.
