This is issue and John Lewis uses the same talking point. I respect MLK and he was great. My point is, what have they done recently? I have had heated debates with my father about this. You need to gain some perspective. Al and Jesse have outlived their usefulness but before social media, if there was an injustice you couldnt just tweet out something. Jesse and Al was there to bring awareness. I wont even bring up 60s-70s Jesse when he was out there in the trenches. 80s-90s Jesse and Al was damn near the only voice the common black folks had to put their message out there. Just like anybody else, they got old, took L's washed up and became all about the check. But it is what it is. Jesse by himself has accomplished and done more for black folks then you ever will i guarantee you that.

I live in a working-class area, but these inner cities are bad. The infrastructure is falling apart and most of these people have been neglected. Yes, I take huge issue with exploiters and oligarchs running our communities with their policies. Brotha, oil pipeline companies are trying to build pipelines to poison our water. They are doing it to the Native Americans and Gullah Geechees.

Again, with all due respect I'm 22 and I have to crawl before I walk. You bring up a good point. I do have stashed money, but I don't invest in the stock market (reasons that it's a huge risk). However, my point is that we have to create a coalition of likeminded people. Sir, Oligarchy means an institution or organization controlled by a few. I'm an average guy who wants to make change. Like I said, we need to join together (general term) and fight for change. Look at the Cubans and other ethnic groups. We have to call out people that's exploiting our people. That is true and I've personally been inside these inner cities. Trust me, it hurts to see low-income people of color live in those types of situations.
