the SCOTUS ruling sets a precedent. now a state can do this in other cases. what happens if someone is wrongfully convicted and denied spiritual counsel because of this?

If someone was wrongfully executed, failing to give them spiritual counselling before killing them wouldn't be the point of focus b.
