Wow this district is foul as fukk. This isn't the only case they've had the DOJ come at them for.
This is some of the most fukked-up shyt I've ever heard of. 14-year-old foster kid with a dead mother complained that a boy was sexually harassing her and trying to pressure her into sex. The boy in question had a long history of sexual harassment and assault. School administration told her to agree to have sex with him in the bathroom so they could catch him in the act. They fukked up the "sting" and left her alone and didn't go in to rescue her, girl got anally raped by the perp in a bathroom stall. Since no one had gone inside when she was being raped, they claimed there was still no proof (even though a medical exam showed injuries consistent with anal rape) and only charged the kid with "inappropriate touching" and suspended him for 5 days, then just made the girl go back to school and didn't offer her any counseling or anything.
A federal judge in the South originally dismissed the case against the school with all sorts of bullshyt excuses before the Obama Administration got involved and got the case overturned by a higher court.
