I’m only 5 hours deep in Spider-Man 2, but I think I’m going to get this and put that on the back burner. Now I gotta decide whether to get it on the Xbox or ps5….there’s too many games :damn:

Never played Alan Wake, but bought Control like 3 times across multiple platforms. Should I take the leap?

I didn't read through the topic due to possible spoilers

I’ve only played Control. I’m jumping in this head first.

The thing is you can’t really release a game 12 years apart and expect people to know everything. I watched a recap video on part 1 and the Control DLC

It's cool they have dualsense support with adaptive triggers and the like on pc. They said I could feel raindrops on the controller, but I don't. Maybe I need to fukk with a setting or something. I usually always use my xbox elite controller for games because I prefer asymmetrical thumbsticks, but I'm not gonna lie, adaptive triggers are nice. The dualsense edge simply has more features than the elite. I just wish it was asymmetrical. Plus that little touchpad on the top is nice for quickly checking the map or my mind palace shyt.

If I were you I would get it on PS5 cause this game supports a haptic feedback dualsense PS5 controller. In the article, they explain how the game supports haptic feedback dualsense like you gonna feel rain when it's raining in the game, etc.

Do you feel like the Resident Evil Remake vibe or totally different?

Different. Resident Evil is more of a linear-straight forward action game…this game involves exploration and investigations

The only real similarities it shares with RE is the over the shoulder-cam and shooting/dodging.

Like in Alan Wake's part 1 exploration and investigation?
