Yeah it's not as linear as AW. I'm more of a linear fan myself, but I'm trying to beat Control now. I own AW 2 so I'm gonna try and beat Control before I continue AW 2.

Idk about the Sheriff but Mr Door is kind of from QB. But according to official lore it's not the same version of the person. Mr. Door is a multiversal entity apparently. So he exists in multiple realities at once.
