What? Doesn’t Montana have some of the most anti corruption/anti campaign money laws and that shyt ain’t going blue in an election. There are “real Americans” who hate big money and corruption who aren’t dems, they’re part of who elected Trump, the drain the swamp/tired of Washington insiders crew

I figured, that, combined with the Ranked-Choice Voting and Open Primaries, would help, I thought

They literally had to run an Independent because their party is so unpopular there. Also anti corruption has always been a thing there, a woman became their governor by running on it, her name was Sarah Palin.

Thing with Montana, the GOP now has full control in the state with the Dems losing the Governor race for the first time in a long time

The GOP is going to loosen those laws, kill collective bargaining and voting rights.

Why shouldnt their union membership come with equal say?:gucci:
it's not equal say, it's disproportionate say. they are more "equal" than someone from houston.

edit:and just to clarify power and say.

the senators from those states have equal power, the voters from their states have disproportionate say. their vote goes further.

the problem with our system isn't that alaska and montana either give us republicans or republican lite dems. if that's the culture of the place so be it. the problem is their equal power in the senate.

That's by intentional design, though. We wouldn't have the Constitution w/o that because all of the States wouldn't have signed up for it
